Description
Description
This custom Ulu set is bladesmith Arik Miller's fusion of frontier material and technical steelwork. The blade is forged in a crushed W's mosaic Damascus pattern — a demanding technique that stacks and manipulates the steel until the resulting pattern is entirely unrepeatable, no two the same.
The handle is naturally shed elk antler, fitted with a single bronze post that ties the piece together without competing with the antler's natural grain and color. The knife is seated in a matching walnut display block with a sculpted bronze attachment plate, built to hold the Ulu as a centerpiece rather than hide it in a drawer.
Ideal for collectors, serious cooks, or anyone who believes a kitchen tool can also be a piece of art.
