Description
Description
David Lisch has spent most of his life working metal — as a fabricator, a blacksmith, a knife maker, and an artist. An ABS Mastersmith, he and his wife Andrea, herself a knife maker, run a school in Yelm, Washington, teaching the next generation of smiths the same techniques Lisch has spent decades refining.
That lifetime shows in the blade. "Damascus is in my blood," Lisch says. "Stacking and resizing, forging and manipulating the patterns so that each billet is one of a kind, and each knife is a unique piece of art and a fully functioning tool." This 7-inch chef knife carries his feather Damascus pattern — 1080/15N20 steel folded and forged into a rippling, feather-like grain that exists nowhere else. The handle is natural stag, its mottled texture and coloring as singular as the blade it's fitted to.
Sourced directly from Lisch by our custom knife buying team at Blade Show 2026, this knife arrives with a protective zippered pouch and a simple leather sheath — ready for the block or the display case.
